In Sequence N2, the X, Y and Z axis
position at rapid traverse to a clearance above the part (Position #0).
In Sequence N3, the Z axis feeds to depth
(Position #1).
In Sequence N4, the cutter moves around the
approach circle at 17.6 IPM (Position #2).
In Sequence N5, the cutter continues around
the approach circle to Position #3. The feedrate 17.6 IPM will give the same chip/tooth
for the cutter going around the circle as 60 IPM does going in a linear move.
In Sequences N6 through N9, the cutter feeds
around the circle to Positions #4, #5, #6 and #7 at 27.2 IPM. Using helical interpolation,
the Z word is the distance moved by the Z slide and the K word is the inches/radian value.

In Sequence N10, the cutter feeds around the
approach circle to Position #8.
In Sequence N11, the cutter feeds to Position
#9.
In Sequence N12, the cutter is retracted to a
clearance Position #0. |
