All TOSCO Port Counterbore tools are form relieved to give the customer a greater number of simple tool resharpenings, thus far greater tool life. These tools are designed to perform all six operations of the port contour at one pass to the latest Air Force-Navy Aeronautical specifications. The "NB" style is for normal use on mills and lathes. All TOSCO porting tools are heat treated and ground between centers to guarantee concentricity. The "GB" style port counter bore tools combine all features of the "NB" style tools plus ground guide bushing diameter. This facilitates operations where it is necessary to guide a tool through drill bushings.
